With all that said i bought these speakers and yes they have little to no bass, this is a fact. but if you already have a sub woofer and a weak amp these speakers are amazing, the alpine amp matches perfectly with these speakers because they do not need much power, and due to the fact that they have little to no bass they hit the highs and mids pretty well. my system sounds wayyyy and i repeat wayyyy better with these speakers, so if you have a sub woofer and a weak but high quality amp like the alpine i have these speakers are really the best and one the cheapest options out there. P.S these puppies can take allot of damage as well like some other people are saying, i have put them on full blast for along time and they have not been blown or damaged in any way, great speakers for the money
